Below is a user-friendly, interactive, searchable table to assist you in locating Wildlands, Wetlands, Wildlife Preserves, Wildlife Reserves and Wilderness Parks that can be found in the San Gabriel Foothills, Angeles National Forest, San Bernardino National Forest, Orange County, Inland Empire and other locations in Southern California. Some of the activities you can enjoy include Hiking, Mountain Biking, Road Cycling, Running, Birding, Kayaking, Horseback Riding, Photography and more.
Useful Tips for using the Place Finder Table
The places are initially sorted by Place Name, in alphabetical order. You can also sort by Activities, Area Type or Local Region, if you wish, by clicking on the column headings.
You can use this table as a search tool to:
- Find a Place to go for a certain Activity.
- Find a certain Type of Area.
- Find an Area near a certain Locale or Region.
- Search place data using any combination of boxes and column headings. See "How To Use Table" for additional help.
This table has only a few entries now but many more will be added in time. This table will become much more useful as the table becomes more propagated.
